Antler is the Agency of Record for Magners in the US. We handle all promotional marketing and sampling activations, events and sponsorships, design/creative needs and social media. In addition, we also partner with Magners to produce the annual Magners Comedy Festival in Boston. Since 2009, Antler has helped Magners USA achieve double-digit growth numbers year after year.
Magners Comedy Festival
Antler has played a central role in producing, promoting and growing the annual Magners Comedy Festival in Boston since its inaugural year in 2010.
One of the primary themes of the festival is the Comic Stand-Off where comedians compete for a chance to win a trip to Scotland to perform in the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. For the 2011 festival, Antler launched the buzz by creating a digital voting application on Magners Facebook page that allowed fans to participate in the selection of the Comic Stand-Off competitors. Nearly 50,000 votes were tallied in just 3 weeks leading to 10,000 new Facebook ‘Likes’, 75,000 Facebook page visits and viral buzz in the months leading up to the event.
The majority of events in both the 1st and 2nd annual festivals sold out. The digital and social media marketing efforts Antler launched to support the festival has won numerous awards including a 2011 OMMA for best Integrated Online Campaigns.
