Last night we kicked off the 3rd annual Magners Comedy Festival in Boston. And what a kick off it was!
This year, we’ve again partnered with global cider brand Magners Irish Cider to produce an amazing five-night festival with over 20 events at five different venues in and around Boston. Last night’s kick-off events included Comedy is King at the Oberon in Harvard Square, and two showings of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare at Nick’s Comedy Stop in the Theater District.
At Oberon, the laughter was nonstop with a killer lineup hosted by Lamont Price – one of Comedy Central’s Comedians to Watch and winner of Rooftop Comedy’s Silver Nail Award. The show also featured the hilarious Graig Murphy, Harrison Stebbins and Dan Boulger. What a great way to get things started! Here’s a clip from Lamont’s kick-off set.
Tonight, we hit the town hard with Upright Citizens Brigade at the Wilbur, Life Before Sext at Improv Asylum, Mottley’s Choice Awards at Mottley’s and the kick off to the 2012 stand-off contest at Nick’s.
