We’re loving the internal communication of Facebook Groups here at Antler headquarters. It has become, for us, a great little tool to keep our internal team abreast of current topics in the office without clogging up the inbox. And since our team is on Facebook quite a bit (for our clients, of course), the fact that this new communication tool is integrated into the everyday flow of Facebook is a major plus.
Just one minor things we noticed, Facebook. Where’s the comment button? Take a quick look on Facebook and notice how regular commenting on walls has a comment button in the comment box. The new Groups comment box, however, doesn’t. Perhaps this is a hint of things to come for the greater of Facebook, or perhaps it was merely an oversight by the Facebook development team.
What do you think? Is this where the rest of commenting functionality will go once Facebook rolls out their next update? Is this a usability win or do you think it promotes neglectful commenting?
