Industry Buzz: This week Twitter has retooled its Business Center, and finally opened up its advertising section to the masses. You still have to wait for a paid trending topic, but this is a big step forward for a Twitter advertising solution.

Facebook Update: Uh oh, Facebook fail! Facebook accidentally launched a few new features. Fan pages appear to be getting a makeover with an updated “Questions” and a new “Switch Accounts” feature.

App Appreciation: Word Lens is a new bilingual app that translates English to-and-from Spanish on the go by simply pointing and clicking. While there are still kinks to work out, this type of language/visual based mobile app is a step forward in translation technology.
